"You guys have all really done a nice, organized job of holiday etc. marketing, and I am grateful for the exposure and sales! Please keep me posted as to your upcoming sales events and definitely for Holiday 2016!"
“I look forward to next December and thank you for having me each year.”
"Thank you again for all you and your family do to help the arts in Central PA!!!!”
"… Thanks for featuring me today! What a surprise when I read it! I'm posting about it! Have a great day, hugs to all."
"In 2012 I submitted some pieces to a show entitled Refuse/re-seen, I was absolutely floored when I was awarded “Best in Show”, especially since the award mean that I was granted a solo exhibition. I’d never done a solo show before and Rebekah and Melanie were enormously nurturing and helpful, guiding me through the process and being always patient and available with email queries. The opening reception was beautiful – an experience I’ll never forget."
“some things looming’ has always been such a pleasure to work with. When I first visited, I was overwhelmed how welcoming Rebekah and Melanie were towards me. They showed a genuine interest in my work. It was wonderful to discover this inspiring community of artists.”
"I have exhibited my conceptual and wearable fiber arts work with ‘some things looming’ for several years. The combination of high artistic and business standards in a friendly atmosphere makes it a pleasure to work with them. It also encourages the exchange of ideas among artists."
“…glad to hear sales are good, I'll post some of your advertising emails to my Facebook, they are very arts-y and I can tell you put some great thought into them. “
"My memory was that my little felted tea pot was chosen to be on the advertisement cards. To my surprise, after the show had closed, I was sent a huge laminated poster of that little felted tea pot. I have been in many shows and galleries before and since, but I have never had such a thoughtful gift. I cherish the poster and it is in my studio today."
“What a pleasure it has been to work with ‘some things looming’ these past few years- you have been so supportive and encouraging and gone out of your way to promote our work. With many thanks - Kathy & Leslie"
"I especially remember when I exhibited a piece made from a decomposing antique crocheted bedspread that I molded into the dress shape of a pregnant woman. When hanging on the wall for a while it tends to relax into a broader form, Floyd phoned me when he was repacking the piece, very concerned that this fragile artwork might not rest safely in the box for shipping. I truly appreciated that he cared to contact me rather than forcing it, as would have been the obvious choice. Together, we found a solution to coax the piece back naturally to the original size/shape."
